Supporting local farmers

Mangosteen, known as the “queen of fruits,” is a popular Thai fruit. I am passionate about supporting local Thai farmers increase their income by promoting Thai fruits worldwide. Inspired by mangosteen, I created products ranging from Thai custard premix to soap.

During a visit to Panya Mangosteen Farm, I met a farmer who had grown and sold mangosteens for over 30 years. Speaking with him helped me learn about the cultivation process. I use the fruit’s white flesh in my custard premix and dry and grind the purple peel for my mangosteen soap. By using both parts, I make the most of the fruit and reduce waste.

“Millionaire Patongko” Book

The Millionaire Patongko book standing on a bookshop table

Co-authored “Millionaire Patongko” book, a 148-page guide to starting a patongko business under the TaNan Culinary Training (TaNan โก๋ชุมชน) project. The book aims to help community members build careers by selling patongko. It provides detailed instructions on preparing patongko and Thai custard, along with links to video tutorials for easy follow-along instruction and commercial production. It also covers essential ingredients and equipment, cost and profit analysis, marketing, pricing strategies, and free consultation for TaNan members.

This book was created for remote communities unable to attend patongko-training classes with TaNan. It will be sold online and in bookstores across Thailand, with net proceeds continuously supporting vocational training and assistance for vulnerable communities.
